How we help

TeachAAPI is ever evolving to best serve our mission. Today, how we best help the AAPI community and beyond is through sharing and connecting, both people and resources.

Library & Learning

Words matter, representation matters, mindspace matters. A key tenet at TeachAAPI is to share and magnify the abundance of AAPI literature, stories and experiences. With a deeper understanding of the diversity within our cultures and the way these cultures are interwoven into the fabric of our country, we aim to drive change in the American mind of what it means to be AAPI.

Curriculum Best Practices

Understanding Asian American and Pacific Islander contributions to American history is essential in shaping strong identities and building allyship.  Working hand-in-hand with educators, TeachAAPI accelerates holistic inclusion of AAPI history, contemporary moments and racial justice into core curriculum for K-12 schools in Los Angeles and beyond. Beyond sharing AAPI and anti-racism resources, we also create and connect educators with each other to amplify our impact across schools exponentially.
