Upper Elementary (3rd-6th+) Virtual Field Trip

This session is ideal for students who are ready for a deeper dive into art, history and the universal concept of gift giving. If you have a younger audience, please check out the Lower Elementary session, for an introduction to the elements of art and a shorter run time.

Join Jenn and Brigitte, educators from the Smithsonian National Museum of Asian Art, on a Virtual Field Trip of the Art of Gift Giving. Students will explore gifts exchanged for holidays, religious customs, and other rituals with example objects from India, China and beyond!
